Is there any hope of a sequel? Which of the movie's many quotable lines are the cast's favorites? Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, and Julianne Moore answered those questions and more for us at the recent Lebowski Reunion.
Yes, the F-Bomb makes an appearance (not surprising given the increased odds). What we didn't see coming, though, was Moore's quote, which looks to Bunny (Tara Reid's character). Warning: We advise headphones if you're viewing this at work.

There's not too many Blu-ray releases we get excited over. Usually they have to include lightsabers or hobbits for us to pant. But when we heard The Big Lebowski was finally coming to Blu-ray, well, it made us thirsty for some "Caucasians."
The movie came and went in theaters but it was on home video (first VHS, then DVD, and now Blu-ray) where the Coen Bros. dark comedy became endowed with cult status.
Now, the only thing better than seeing a movie you've seen hundreds of times, is seeing it in HD and on the newly released Blu-ray, fans get a digital copy along with some pretty cool bonus features, including a making-of documentary, a tracking of all the f-bombs, "dudes," and Lebowski-isms during the movie.

In case you haven't heard, the Rapture has been moved up. According to a California evangelical, a massive earthquake will shake the world, sending true believers to the heavens, leaving nonbelievers to watch the world destruction.*
That might sound like bad news (OK, really bad news) but the silver lining in all this is that we get to plan our final hours. So with the pending apocalypse — tonight or on Saturday, as originally scheduled — we ask, What movie would you watch on you last day?
Would it be a lighthearted movie to ease your mind? Or would you pick an apocalyptic movie to prepare you in case you survive Judgment Day?

In the annals of comedies, The Big Lebowski is probably among the most deserving for a worthy sequel. Even 13 years after its release, fans still abide by the Dude, played by Jeff Bridges. But chances of a sequel seem thin with Joel and Ethan Coen not showing any interest in telling more of the Dude and Walter's (John Goodman) story.
Fans of The Big Lebowski got some false hope when Tara Reid mentioned she was preparing to reprise her role as Bunny for a sequel. Reid's announcement (which was news for the Coen brothers) was quickly debunked and fans drowned their sorrows in white Russians. But the funny crew at FunnyorDie.com (and Reid showing a good sense of humor) give us a trailer for the sequel to The Big Lebowski that could have been.
In the NSW spoof trailer, Reid shows her funny bone and takes on most of the roles from the original. Though there has been some changes since we last saw the Dude and company — Walter has converted to Buddhism, instead of Jesus we now have Muhammad and instead of a missing rug, the Dude is looking for his sofa.

Just in time for the 2011 Lebowki Fest in Tampa comes the news that The Big Lebowski is getting a sequel. According to actress Tara Reid, who played Bunny Lebowski in the 1998 cult classic movie from Ethan and Joel Coen, The Big Lebowski 2 will begin filming "this year," bringing together "the whole cast" for a "10-year reunion." Sounds great, right? Other than the fact that it would be the 13-year reunion of the cast, the big problem with Reid's announcement is that...nobody told the Coen Bros.!
Good thing they have a sense of humor. When asked about Reid's statements by Austin360, Ethan said, "I’m glad she’s working on it." Ethan said that they do not have any plans for The Big Lebowski 2 right now, but that they will "watch it when it comes out," with Joel chiming in, "Especially if Tara’s in it."
A representative for Reid later told EW that Tara had been misinformed.
She heard Jeff Bridges say that he wanted to make Big Lebowski 2 and have all the original cast members in it, so she may have misspoke, thinking that included her based on what Jeff said.
Poor, Tara. That girl just can't catch a break.

In Disney's Tron: Legacy, which is currently in theaters, Academy Award-winning actor Jeff Bridges reprises the role of video game programmer Kevin Flynn, a character that he first played nearly three decades ago in the original Tron, a rare opportunity for an actor in this age of reboots and remakes, where the actors who play major roles seem to be expendable. In a recent interview in support of his other movie currently in theaters, True Grit, Bridges once again mentioned his interest in making a sequel to Texasville, the 1990 sequel to the highly acclaimed 1971 drama The Last Picture Show, and also revealed that, given the opportunity, he would be interested in reprising the roles he played in Starman (1984) and The Big Lebowski (1998), as well.
