Universal Pictures has announced that it is pushing back the release date of Little Fockers from July 30 to December 22. The sequel to 2004's Meet the Fockers, the movie continues the comedic conflict between Gaylord "Greg" Focker (played by Ben Stiller) and his overbearing father-in-law, Jack Byrnes (Robert DeNiro), as Greg and his wife, Pamela (Teri Polo), struggle with being parents.
Recent cast additions to Little Fockers include Jessica Alba, Laura Dern, and Harvey Keitel. Owen Wilson will return as Pamela's good-at-everything ex, Kevin Rawley. Paul Weitz directs, replacing Jay Roach, who directed the first two films in the series.
Universal has given the former release date of Little Fockers to The Adjustment Bureau, a sci-fi romance flick based on a short story by the late Philip K. Dick that stars Emily Blunt and Matt Damon.
