For those who haven't heard, Universal is making American Reunion, the fourth installment in the American Pie franchise. Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan, Eugene Levy and the rest of the cast are all returning for the sequel, which will be written and directed by Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay's Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg.
The last time the cast was assembled was 2003's American Wedding, which saw Biggs' Jim and Hannigan's Michelle get married. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hannigan revealed what's in store for American Reunion. a return to band camp? >> Posted 06.03.11 by Ryan
American Pie 4 has been in the works for a while, with Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay writer/directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg announcing last April that they intended to direct the fourth installment of the franchise instead of A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas.
The Wrap reports that the upcoming sequel, titled American Reunion, is intending to bring back to original cast for another sequel, the first theatrical sequel since 2003's American Wedding. Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott are already signed to return as is Eugene Levy — no surprise there, since Levy appeared in all four direct-to-DVD American Pie Presents "comedies" such as 2009's American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. Scott's recent admission to a treatment program for "health and personal issues" is not expected to affect the production. What will Reunion be about? >> Posted 03.19.11 by Ryan
Ah, the Nerd Fantasy. In case you're not familiar with this genre, it involves a.) a nerd, b.) a fantasy that can be fulfilled only in the movies, almost always involving c.) the nerd scoring some babe way out of his league. The latest offering in this well-populated oeuvre is due out next week (aptly titled She's Out of My League).
Wanting to quantify this phenomenon, ReelzChannel has partnered with noted mathematician Frederick "Huntz" Weinkauf to create the Nerd Fantasy Formula, a complex algorithm taking into account the Nerd's Looks, the Babe's Looks, and the Believability Index. We fed the data into our computers and here's what came out: The Weird Science of Nerd Fantasy Movies. Posted 03.03.10 by reelz
After her memorable performance as Stifler's Mom in American Pie, fans will be happy to hear that Jennifer Coolidge is playing another onscreen femme fatale -- in fact, two -- in a film that releases this Friday.
And while her curves may be all CG splendor in Igor, the feminine wiles are classic Coolidge -- and she's happy to share how she traded on them to win the Igor roles in our bawdy interview with Coolidge and co-star Eddie Izzard. Posted 09.18.08 by reelz
