I Think I Love My Wife

It's a pretty light weekend at the cinema as far as box office is concerned. The biggest release is Premonition with the fading former A-list star Sandra Bullock (Check out our interview with Bullock) which is receiving staggeringly terrible reviews across the board. Rotten Tomatoes currently gives it a score of 08 %, 90 negative reviews versus a mere 8 positive. You can check out our own Heather Huntington's review here.

 

For the horror fans we've got Dead Silence, which was not pre-screened for critics. As such, we have no review for you, but let's be honest. Studios don't generally hide a good movie. It's by the writing and directing team that did the first Saw (a decent enough and very successful B-horror movie).

 

Finally, there's Chris Rock's I Think I Love My Wife, which has also been receiving a pretty negative reaction from critics. Metacritic scores it at a 49 out of 100.

 

But let's get real. 300 is where it's at, sure to cleanup for a second weekend in a row. If you think you're avoiding crowds by waiting a week on this one, be warned. Advance tickets are still a must or you might get stuck watching Sandra Bullock try to be likable again.
