Fuller, who produced both the 2009 reboot of Friday the 13th and the 2010 reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street, has attempted to keep horror fans updated on any possible sequels, revealing last April that Friday the 13th Part 2 was in a holding pattern as studios Paramount and New Line evaluated "if they're going to make it", while, a month later, Warner Bros. president Dan Fellman said that the $32.2 million opening of Nightmare proved "there's a lot left in the franchise". With almost a year passing with little to no development on sequels, Fuller took to his Twitter account to discuss where both sequels stood.
