With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 now playing in theaters, fans are wondering about the final installment in the franchise, Part 2. Talking to Reuters, actor Daniel Radcliffe described the difference between the two movies.
In [Harry Potter] seven... people keep talking about "Oh, it's an action movie," (but)... this is so sedate compared to what the next one is going to be like. The next film, because you've had all the plot set up already, you can just kind of enjoy the insanity of all the action.

Even though series stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have repeatedly expressed how sad they are to see the Harry Potter franchise draw to a close, in response to creator J.K. Rowling's statement on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she may one day write more books starring everyone's favorite junior wizards, both actors said that they would not reprise the roles of Harry and Hermione in any movies beyond Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Now, there's more bad news for the Potter fans around the world who were whipped into a frenzy by the tantalizing prospect of Harry and company having a literary life beyond Deathly Hallows. At the U.S. premiere of Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Radcliffe revealed to MTV that he had been assured, via text message from Rowling, that he would never again be called on to wield Harry's wand on screen.

As Harry Potter fans well know, it's only a few days before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 opens in theaters, beginning a two-part ending to the beloved book and movie franchise created by author J.K. Rowling. Daniel Radcliffe, who has grown up playing Potter for the past ten years, admitted in a recent interview with ComingSoon that he was "devastated" when production wrapped on the movie, thus ending his run as the boy wizard, but was "very proud to have been a part of a franchise that has become pretty renowned." What he was not proud of was his performance in the previous sequel, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
