We told you last week about Fathom Events hosting all three of the previous Twilight movies on the Tuesdays in November, leading up to the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. To get fans even more pumped about seeing the movie again on the big screen, they've put together a trailer for Twilight Tuesdays. While it's disappointing that the trailers to contain any of the "new" footage that is promised for the re-releases, it's never a bad thing to see the most memorable images from the Twilight series again.
Along with this (sort-of) new trailer, the French poster for Breaking Dawn Part 1 has also recently been released and we're still not sure why the French titles (Fascination, Tentation, Hésitation and Révélation) of Stephenie Meyer's series aren't even sort-of literal translations of the English titles. Far more upsetting though, is that the French get to watch Breaking Dawn two days before we get to see it in the US. Perhaps it's worth going on a sight-seeing/movie-watching trip to Paris the third week of November? Watch the Twilight Tuesdays Trailer Posted 10.11.11 by Mandy

The Twilight franchise has been very lucrative for Summit Entertainment and the studio is not shy about using litigation to protect its investment. According to THR, Summit has filed suit against Tom Markson owner of Twilight.com, alleging that the site deceives consumers into believing that it is the official website authorized by the studio. Seeing as the site consists of the words "Welcome to Twilight.com" in black letters on a white background and some links to Amazon.com to buy the books, movies, and soundtracks for both The Twilight Saga and The Twilight Zone, it seems highly unlikely that any person capable of using a computer to access the internet would confuse the site with one that was authorized by either Summit Entertainment or Twilight author Stephenie Meyer. The website was first registered in 1994, eleven years before Meyer's book was released.
Summit has previously gone to court with Bath & Body Works due to their "Twilight Woods" line of products, and has sued B.B. Dakota for advertising that Bella wore their jacket. The blue canvas jacket worn by Kristen Stewart in Twilight was made by B.B. Dakota and purchased at Nordstrom Rack. Posted 09.08.11 by Mandy
It's official. On Nov. 8, 10 days before The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 hits theaters, the Breaking Dawn soundtrack will be available in stores and online. Summit Entertainment and Chop Shop Records made the announcement Aug. 13 — Edward and Bella's wedding anniversary.
Director Bill Condon worked closely with Chop Shop to find the perfect tracklist, which they promise will be revealed in the next few weeks. How successful have the other Twilight soundtracks been? >> Posted 08.16.11 by reelz
First Bella's high school was demolished a couple of weeks ago, and now the site of her prom was hit.
The Oregonian reports that the View Point Inn, which was featured in Twilight as the location of the Forks High School prom, caught fire Sunday a little before noon. The fire was first reported by two Twilight fans hoping to sneak a look at the Inn at 11:49 am. The fire was completely extinguished around 3:45 that afternoon. The cast of director Matthew Vaughn's upcoming X-Men prequel, X-Men: First Class is filled with established actors, Oscar nominees, and up-and-coming stars, but only Edi Gathegi has experience being involved a franchise filled with obsessive fans, having appeared as the vampire Laurent in the first two Twilight movies.
Gathegi plays Darwin in First Class, a relatively new character, even in the comic books — Darwin first appeared in the February 2006 issue of X-Men: Deadly Genesis #2. Darwin's power is reactive adaptation, which means that "whatever environment he's in, in order to survive he will mutate," Gathegi explained in an interview with IGN. Gathegi added that Darwin is also "the coolest one."

If he gets thrown in water, all of a sudden he might have gills. The lights go out, he'll have 20-20 vision in the pitch black. What I like about my character's powers is that a lot of the X-Men have very cool powers, but with this one you actually see it happening and you see why it's happening. In the right circumstances you see the thought behind the character and the need to create that evolution. There's a logic to it. And the possibilities are endless with good writing.
Robert Pattinson is getting some company in Cosmopolis.
THR reports that Samantha Morton (Sweet and Lowdown, The Messenger) and Sarah Gadon (the upcoming Dream House) have joined the cast of the thriller, which director David Cronenberg adapted from the Don DeLillo novel of the same name.
Cosmopolis stars Pattinson as a young billionaire whose limousine ride around Manhattan becomes a Ulysses-esque journey that experiences a rap star's funeral, Presidential-visit traffic jams, terrorist attacks, stalkings, and frequent run-ins with his wife, played by Gadon. Pattinson recently admitted to Empire that he was "just astonished" that he had been cast in the movie. script is "insane" >> Posted 03.29.11 by Ryan
- A relative newcomer to Hollywood, Jenn Proske has started her career off with a bang, playing "Becca Crane" in the new Twilight Saga parody Vampires Suck. Matt Lanter, star of new Twilight Saga parody Vampires Suck, will soon get a taste of just what the Twilight fandom is really like. In a recent interview, the 27-year-old 90210 actor talked about fan backlash, Robert Pattinson, and Edward Cullen impersonations.
When asked about working on the spoof, and whether he expects any fan backlash, Lanter said of Twilight, "Let's be honest, they had it coming, right." He also says he worries "a little bit" about 13-year-old girls turning up at his house, asking them to "please not hurt me." More from Latner on RPatz and his hair >> Posted 08.07.10 by reelz
