Once again Summit Entertainment's Twilight Saga movies dominated last night's Teen Choice Awards, which were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. 2009's New Moon and 2010's Eclipse saw the saga and its stars walk away with 11 wins at the awards, including Choice Movie: Fantasy for New Moon and Choice Summer Movie for Eclipse.

Bryce Dallas Howard has been building a nice resume joining popular movie franchise sequels lately; playing Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3, and Kate Connor in Terminator Salvation. Apparently, Spider-Man and Terminator were nothing compared to the intensity of joining the Twilight universe. Howard admitted to MTV that making Eclipse was more intense than the others.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon and its cast won all five nominated awards at last night's MTV Movie Awards — or the Twilight Awards, as they should really be known.
New Moon scooped awards for the Best Movie, Best Kiss, Best Male and Female Performances for real-life couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and Global Superstar for fan-favorite RPattz. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, considering the awards are voted for by MTV viewers and movie fans. The Twilight Saga is nothing if not popular.

It's that time of year again — voting for the MTV Movie Awards has begun. Leading the brood is The Hangover with nominations in six categories, followed closely by The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Avatar, each up for five awards. All three are up for Best Movie.

As Bella-Edward-Jacob fans worldwide now know, the "final trailer" for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse premieres April 23rd on the Oprah show, with Dakota Fanning in studio.
Friday it will also be released online at 8PM ET on Summit's Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, and Twitter channels along with the movie's offical site. A live video chat with Bryce Dallas Howard, Nikki Reed, and Julia Jones follows at 8:15 PM ET on Facebook and MySpace.

Four days after its official domestic release, news is in that the Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD has sold more than 4 million units in its first weekend, beating Twilight's sales of 3.8 million.
In a new press release, Summit Entertainment's Co-Chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger said:
Once again the incredibly dedicated fans of the TWILIGHT SAGA came out in massive numbers this weekend for the opportunity to be one of the first take home the second movie in the series. As we have said all along, the fans are what make this franchise and we once again thank them for their support.
Is anyone surprised? Shocked? Anything featuring Robert Pattinson's chiseled features on the cover art is sure to sell copious amounts of copies — Twilight fans are nothing if not dedicated. We're sure their tendency to buy multiple copies hasn't hurt, either. Stephenie Meyer will be proud.

As evidenced by the many release parties this weekend, Twilighters are excited to get their hands on the first look at this summer's release, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, along with having New Moon readily available for home viewing.
Today, two of those DVD extras have made their way to the web — the first scene from Eclipse, which shows Bella and Edward together in bed, and the behind-the-scenes featurette. Both can be seen in the combined clip below.
