Last Saturday, director David Slade (Twilight Saga: Eclipse) used his personal twitter account to promise that we can expect some "official news" this week about his next project Sony Pictures' new Daredevil movie. Well, the week is nearly over and we're still awaiting that official news, but Slade may have given us a huge hint about what that news might be by squeezing a photo of a Twilight star between his rants about 3-D — "No I am not a fan of 3d and I need to write an essay as to why" — and his idea for a new body part-related acronym for Twilight fans — "BREASTS" for "Better Respect Edward and Swan Twilight Saga." what Twilight star did Slade tweet about? >> Posted 06.03.11 by BrentJS
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been nominated for a whole slew of MTV Movie Awards, including two nominations for Best Kiss, one for a Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson smooch and another for Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, was interviewed by MTV about the double nomination. She unfortunately didn't admit to which fella she was voting for.
Maybe it can be a tie? That would be perfect! I think [that's] the safest solution to this problem.
Well, we're going to go ahead and mark down for Team Edward.
The MTV movie awards air June 5, and fans will pick who the better kisser is. Though with the Twilight fans divided it might just go to Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis's Black Swan kiss. Posted 05.31.11 by Mandy
The MTV Movie Award nomination were announced yesterday, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse garnered the most nods. Eclipse received eight nominations within twelve categories, including being nominated twice for the categories of Best Male Performance (for Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, of course) and Best Kiss (for Kristen Stewart's smooches with the aforementioned Best Male Performance nominees).
Inception received a total of seven nominations, with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 following right behind with six. Inception was the only one of the top three nominated movies to get noticed for the unconventional categories of Best Jaw-Dropping Moment, Biggest Badass Star, and Best Scared-As-Sh-- Performance. Deathly Hallows was the only one of the three to be singled out for Best Villain, but surprisingly, not for Ralph Fiennes' Lord Voldemort, but instead for Draco Malfoy played by Tom Felton. The Golden Globe nominations are already out, and the Oscar nominations are forthcoming, but what about the Razzies — the awards show that celebrates the worst Hollywood has to offer? The LA Times reports that the nominating lists for the Razzies have been sent out and the shortlist for worst picture contains the following movies: The Bounty Hunter, Clash of the Titans, The Expendables, Grown Ups, Jonah Hex, Killers, The Last Airbender, Little Fockers, Sex and the City 2, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Vampires Suck, and Yogi Bear. (Keep your fingers crossed When in Rome, The Back-Up Plan, and Gulliver's Travels, you might still make it!) who else could "win"? >> Posted 01.05.11 by Ryan
Once again Summit Entertainment's Twilight Saga movies dominated last night's Teen Choice Awards, which were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. 2009's New Moon and 2010's Eclipse saw the saga and its stars walk away with 11 wins at the awards, including Choice Movie: Fantasy for New Moon and Choice Summer Movie for Eclipse. New spoof movie Vampires Suck, from "the guys who couldn't sit through another vampire movie" (aka the guys behind Disaster Movie and Epic Movie), looks set to either entertain or infuriate fans of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga, as it attempts to poke fun at the movie phenomenon. And for the Twihaters, aka disgruntled boyfriends and husbands, it may be an even better offering than David Slade's addition for Eclipse.
We take a closer look at some of the scenes Vampires Suck parodies in its official trailer, which includes the all-important paper-cut scene from New Moon. Remember, Twilighters: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. No, really.

Even though The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been in theaters for a mere 10 days, that hasn't stopped fans from speculating about when they can get their own personal copy, one readily available for home viewing. While no official DVD release date has yet been announced, if Summit follows past practice, the disc should be out about 120 days after the theater release. If we've done the math right, that should be October 29, 2010 — allowing for the traditional Friday midnight release party. But if you're concerned about being one of the first to get it, we recommend signing up for an email alert from Amazon. Posted 07.09.10 by reelz

Bryce Dallas Howard has been building a nice resume joining popular movie franchise sequels lately; playing Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3, and Kate Connor in Terminator Salvation. Apparently, Spider-Man and Terminator were nothing compared to the intensity of joining the Twilight universe. Howard admitted to MTV that making Eclipse was more intense than the others.
