The Golden Globe nominations are already out, and the Oscar nominations are forthcoming, but what about the Razzies — the awards show that celebrates the worst Hollywood has to offer? The LA Times reports that the nominating lists for the Razzies have been sent out and the shortlist for worst picture contains the following movies: The Bounty Hunter, Clash of the Titans, The Expendables, Grown Ups, Jonah Hex, Killers, The Last Airbender, Little Fockers, Sex and the City 2, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Vampires Suck, and Yogi Bear. (Keep your fingers crossed When in Rome, The Back-Up Plan, and Gulliver's Travels, you might still make it!) who else could "win"? >> Posted 01.05.11 by Ryan
Congratulations could soon be in order for the parody "specialists" Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, makers of Twilight series spoof Vampires Suck, which will likely end up being the worst-reviewed movie of the year.

"...a witless spoof (that) merely provides an unfunny scene-by-scene retread of the first two movies in the hugely successful [Twilight] franchise."— Sheri Linden, Hollywood Reporter
"...this instantly forgettable trifle is fairly close to worthless."— Joe Leydon, Variety
"...[filled with] limp slapstick violence, half-assed sight gags, and stale sex jokes that would make Carrot Top ashamed."— Simon Abrams, Slant Magazine
- A relative newcomer to Hollywood, Jenn Proske has started her career off with a bang, playing "Becca Crane" in the new Twilight Saga parody Vampires Suck. The 23-year-old Boston University graduate beat out hundreds of other actresses vying for the caricature of Bella Swan (played by Kristen Stewart), who has become a recognizable face among fans of Stephenie Meyer's worldwide phenomenon. We recently talked with Proske about her love of Twilight, fan reactions to the Vampires Suck parody, and how she managed to channel Stewart's famous portrayal.

Matt Lanter, star of new Twilight Saga parody Vampires Suck, will soon get a taste of just what the Twilight fandom is really like. In a recent interview, the 27-year-old 90210 actor talked about fan backlash, Robert Pattinson, and Edward Cullen impersonations.
When asked about working on the spoof, and whether he expects any fan backlash, Lanter said of Twilight, "Let's be honest, they had it coming, right." He also says he worries "a little bit" about 13-year-old girls turning up at his house, asking them to "please not hurt me." More from Latner on RPatz and his hair >> Posted 08.07.10 by reelz
Two fun new items for the upcoming Twilight Saga parody Vampires Suck have been released online. The parody, written by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, attempts to over-exaggerate Stephenie Meyer's worldwide phenomenon, in what some are sure to consider the funniest movie of the year.
The new poster — complete with a great "Some Sagas Just Won't Die" tagline — shows Matt Lanter (Edward), Jenn Proske (Becca), and Chris Riggi (Jacob) flanked by three Nomad vampires and a comical Lady Gaga knock-off. Edward is sporting a "Team Jacob" T-shirt, while Jacob repays the favor by donning "Team Edward." Becca — looking as morose as ever — stands in the middle of both supernatural creatures, holding a clove of garlic instead of the saga's iconic red apple. Also present is Edward's perfectly coiffed hair, standing at least 6 inches above his head. Robert Pattinson would be proud. see the "Pale Guy" clip, where Becca meets "the Sullens" >> Posted 08.07.10 by reelz
New spoof movie Vampires Suck, from "the guys who couldn't sit through another vampire movie" (aka the guys behind Disaster Movie and Epic Movie), looks set to either entertain or infuriate fans of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga, as it attempts to poke fun at the movie phenomenon. And for the Twihaters, aka disgruntled boyfriends and husbands, it may be an even better offering than David Slade's addition for Eclipse.
We take a closer look at some of the scenes Vampires Suck parodies in its official trailer, which includes the all-important paper-cut scene from New Moon. Remember, Twilighters: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. No, really.
