In acting, sometimes a great performance stands alone, and other times an ensemble can come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Beards can be the same way.
While there were many beards that achieved greatness on their own this year, we found that there were also several instances of a group of beards creating something that no single beard could achieve on its own. For this reason we decided to devote a Reelzie category to best beard ensemble.
