It's still a long wait until the final installment of the Twilight series is in theaters, but here's a little something to brighten up the day of any Team Jacob or Team Edward members out there. Two new photos from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 have just been released, and while they may not be action packed and they don't give away much about the movie, they still manage to give fans what they want.
One features a gorgeous, red-eyed vampire version of Bella (Kristen Stewart) standing with her Edward (Robert Pattinson). The other pic simply features Jacob (Taylor Lautner) in a black T-shirt with a bit of a five o'clock shadow creeping up on him. He's certainly wearing that extra bit of facial hair very well.

Posted 04.15.12 by Chris Despite the fact that filming on the final Twilight installments, Breaking Dawn 1 and 2, finished nearly a year ago, looks like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will play Edward and Bella one more time.
On the movie's official Facebook page, director Bill Condon announced Stewart and Pattinson are returning to Vancouver, British Columbia, for reshoots for this November's Breaking Dawn: Part 2.
Hello Twihards!Greetings from Los Angeles, where we’re hard at work on BREAKING DAWN, PART TWO. It’s truly crazy to think that it’s been a year since we wrapped production in Vancouver, since for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.
A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece – each shot, no matter how brief – needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we’ll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots – the last tiny missing pieces. We’re not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors.I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I’ve made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time…
I’m excited to report that before too long we’ll have another trailer for you to decode. And wait until you see the first posters — they’re unlike any “Twilight” images you’ve seen before. And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours!

Unlike Joss Whedon's rumored Avengers reshoots, Condon will have a few months to work the new footage into the movie. Reshoots are rather common for large productions, especially for back-to-back productions (both parts of Breaking Dawn were filmed consecutively). While filming the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Peter Jackson called back the cast several times for reshoots.

Posted 03.26.12 by Chris There's a teaser trailer for Breaking Dawn: Part 2 but if you saw The Hunger Games this weekend (and with the movie's record-breaking $155M debut, who didn't?), you already knew that.
The teaser is just that — a tease. The 45-second clip is just a longer cut of the 15-second clip released last week. What's new is that we hear Bella's (Kristen Stewart) thoughts about being a vampire.
After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found I could shine.
We also get a new, eery shot of Bella stalking a deer in the woods as she sticks to the Cullen's "vegetarian" diet.

Posted 03.20.12 by Mandy The entire first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 won't be released until March 23, when it will debut before screenings of The Hunger Games, but a 15-second sneak peek is available right now.
Unsurprisingly, there still isn't a good look at Bella (Kristen Stewart) as a vampire (that last shot from Part 1 will have to suffice for now) but members of both Team Edward and Team Jacob should be happy. The mini taste of the teaser does give us some Robert Pattinson and some Taylor Lautner. Though Lautner has not exactly been revered by critics for his acting chops, it's remarkable how the actor is able to really reveal the significant emotional change Jacob has gone through with only about two seconds of footage. Check out the brand-new, angst-free Jacob Black. Edward Cullen is, of course, as sweet and lovely as ever.

Posted 03.12.12 by Mandy Fans in the UK had to wait until March 12, a month longer than their US counterparts, to take home DVD and Blu-ray copies of Breaking Dawn Part 1, but they did get a little something special to commemorate the event. The first official photo was released late last week for the upcoming final movie of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn Part 2.
While the photo doesn't contain any new information, it does feature Robert Pattinson's handsome face, and that's never a bad thing. The only glimpse that is given of the vampire Bella is the back of her head. For fans who didn't get a chance to see clips from Part 2 at one of the release parties, there are some low-quality, non-official images of Kristen Stewart as a blood sucker floating around.

Posted 02.22.12 by Mandy The town of Forks, Washington is planning a big birthday party for Twilight's Bella Swan, and one resident is hoping some of the party decorations become a permanent feature in the town.
The Forks Forum reported last week that community member Rosemary Colendrea, who is helping to plan Bella's birthday event, is hoping to launch a museum dedicated to Stephenie Meyer's series. So far, the town owns an arch used in 2008's Twilight, and is hoping to buy a private collection of Twilight props later this year. The items will be on display for the three-day Stephenie Meyer's Day event, which will also feature a nighttime reenactment of Bella and Edward's wedding. No word if Alice Cullen will be available to decorate for the event. While these items will be lovely to showcase at a short festival, a rather more extensive collection of items will probably be necessary if a museum is to be built.
Colendrea is also hopeful that a Twilight television series could be filmed in the town. While a TV spin-off of the series is a fantastic idea, our favorite concept for a Twilight television series would have to be set in Seattle, since it would take place at the office of J. Jenks.

The vampires in Twilight might live forever but Robert Pattinson's tenure as Edward Cullen is all but over.
While plugging his upcoming movie Bel Ami, Pattinson hinted that after The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 later this year, he's done with the role that made him a star. Pattinson was asked if he would be interested in returning to the world of Twilight if author Stephanie Meyer decided to pen another installment.
I'd be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I'd probably be too old. I'm already too old. But yeah, it'd be kind of interesting.
At 25, Pattinson is probably already pushing the limit of playing the forever 17 Cullen. But what is this news about a possible continuation of Twilight?

The LA Times reports that the trailer for the fifth and final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, will debut before The Hunger Games when it hits theaters March 23.
The move makes sense now that Lionsgate owns Summit, the studio behind Twilight. As the Times article points out, while anticipation is high for The Hunger Games, it doesn't have the proven built-in fanbase that Twilight has. Will the Twi-hards who made Twilight a multi-billion dollar franchise show up to watch Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) try to survive the Hunger Games? Lionsgate is definitely banking on it.

Posted 02.07.12 by Mandy In Robert Pattinson's latest movie, Bel Ami, it's clear that his character is nothing like Twilight's loyal and honest Edward. In a recent interview with the Herald Scotland, Pattinson was asked what Edward Cullen would think of Georges Duroy and declared "Edward so wouldn't approve!"
While the moody vampire, Edward, is decidedly a one-woman man, the 19th-century cad, George Duroy, seduces one lady after another. Or as Pattinson described it: "Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, and Kristen Scott Thomas... And I sleep with all of them."
