It was a given that Jonah Hex was heading for a Razzie nomination after director Jimmy Hayward's adaptation of the DC comic book received scathing reviews and limped to a total of $10 million at the box office. Just when it couldn't get any worse, Jonah Hex star Josh Brolin even admitted in September that he wasn't a fan of the movie either. There could be a bright spot, however, because Jonah Hex could win an Academy Award nomination.

A new, theatrical trailer has been released for director Peter Weir's The Way Back. Featuring Colin Farrell, Jim Sturgess, Ed Harris, and Saoirse Ronan, the movie follows a group of prisoners who escape a Siberian labor camp and must cross 4,000 miles of punishing terrain in order to reach freedom in British India. The movie was based on Slawomir's memoir The Long Walk, the validity of which has been called into question by several critics, and may have, in fact, been based on another prisoner's experience and not Rawicz's. The movie is Weir's first since 2003's Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.

The first trailer for director Peter Weir's (Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World) new adventure drama, The Way Back, has been released online. Based on the book of the same name — which may or may not be a true account of Slawomir Rawicz's supposed escape from a Soviet gulag — the movie follows a group of seven multi-national prisoners as they flee a Siberian forced labor camp in 1940, crossing 4,000 miles of rugged mountainous terrain and blistering desert to reach British India and sanctuary. Colin Farrell, Jim Sturgess, and Ed Harris headline the international cast.
