December is the start of "Oscar season" and previous winner Halle Berry's potential bid is the drama Frankie & Alice which follows Berry as a "a young woman with multiple personality disorder who struggles to remain her true self and not give in to her racist alter-personality." Stellan Skarsgård co-stars as Berry's doctor.
Freestyle Releasing has released the first trailer for the movie, which opens in limited release on December 10, while the rest of the country will have to wait until February 4, 2011, to see if Berry has turned in another performance like her Oscar winning turn in Monster's Ball (tactfully mentioned in the trailer).
