The Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd starrer, Wanderlust, opened to an unimpressive box office and somewhat tepid reviews earlier this year, but does that make it unwatchable? Sure, Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston are two of the most attractive and likable stars in Hollywood, but the first trailer for this month's Wanderlust looked a touch lackluster. A new red-band trailer has just arrived that could explain the tepidness of promos: It was probably difficult to cut an appropriate-for-all-audiences trailer from this hard-R comedy at all.
The new trailer doesn't spend much time on exposition; instead it focuses on the time the couple spends at a commune. From what we can see here, it looks like an outing to this flick would be more than just an excuse to see Aniston and her man Justin Theroux on screen together. After his first widely released feature, Role Models (2008), proved to be a hit at the box office, writer-director David Wain immediately began working on his follow-up, Wanderlust, with the backing of comedy wizard Judd Apatow. Starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston as a Manhattan couple who flee the big city and wind up at a clothing-optional commune, Wanderlust wrapped nearly a year ago and has spent months on end in post-production, but now the first trailer has finally been released. watch the trailer >> Posted 11.04.11 by BrentJS
