Two doctors (Hugh Dancy, Jonathan Pryce) in Victorian England use manual stimulation of female genitalia to cure their patients' ills, leading to the invention of the vibrator.
After giving us his picks for the best and the worst movies of 2012 (so far), resident movie expert Richard Roeper offers up his selection of this year's must-see movies...that nobody bothered to go to the theater to see. Most of the movies on the list benefited from top-notch acting from odd casting couplings — Jack Black with Shirley Maclaine in Bernie; Seth Rogen with Michelle Williams in Take This Waltz — but suffered because the subject matter was either too off-putting, as in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, or not marketed properly, as with the "baudy" creation-of-the-vibrator period piece, Hysteria. Check out the video above for the rest of Roeper's "must-see movies" and the reasons why each of his picks made the list.
