Well, that went fast. Seems like just yesterday we were kicking off the summer season by watching The Avengers on the big screen, but unless you haven't check the calendar lately, it's August and that means the summer movie season is wrapping up. With school just around the corner, the third installment of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise gives kids and parents a chance to cap off the summer with some lighthearted family fare.
The first two movies in this kid franchise have been hits at the box office, so it only makes sense that we get another Wimpy Kid sequel. But just like some returning pupils need a refresher course before hitting the books again, some fans of the Wimpy Kid movies might need to get reacquainted with the series' cast and characters.
