Last month, the first trailer was released for the upcoming supernatural horror movie The Conjuring (formerly The Warren Files) and revealed Lili Taylor playing a frightening game of hide-and-seek. The movie's second trailer manages to keep a few scares while folding in more of the movie's plot.
The Conjuring follows Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga respectively), the married, paranormal investigators that were also involved in the real-life case that would eventually inspire the 1979 horror classic The Amityville Horror. But before Amityville, there was Harrisville, where the Warrens try to help Carolyn and Roger Perron (played by Taylor and Ron Livingston), whose family is being haunted by malevolent spirits in their Rhode Island farmhouse. The story is allegedly based on true events, in so far as the Warrens were real people, but whether you believe or not, the latest trailer continues to show that The Conjuring could be one scary movie.
