Pain & Gain was the number one movie in theaters this weekend, and that is no surprise. The lady-folk were just as excited to see it as the beefcakes out there were, and there’s one very good reason: Mark Wahlberg. Read on to find out just what makes him our favorite decuple (that's right, times ten) threat.

A quick peek into what lies ahead this year.
Now that 2012 is behind us (and the Mayans were wrong), 2013 is rolling ahead as scheduled (and like most of us assumed it would). That means a whole new year of movies are scheduled to open, starting this Friday. However, to help us prepare for the coming onslaught of sequels, reboots and potential franchise starters, YouTube user M Walls has put together a 2013 movie trailer mashup (via ScreenRant) that includes footage from Man of Steel, Iron Man 3, Lone Ranger, World War Z, After Earth, Oblivion, Gangster Squad, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Pain & Gain, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, and Star Trek Into Darkness and reveals a taste of what audiences have to look forward to in the coming year. watch the video >> Posted 01.03.13 by Ryan
"I believe in fitness."
Director Michael Bay has wanted to make the upcoming body-building comedy Pain & Gain since 2009, when he said he wanted to make a "small movie" in between shooting Transformers" Revenge of the Fallen and what would become Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Clearly, Paramount was able to convince Bay to stick with the Autobots for a bit longer than he initially planned, but, with the arrival of Pain & Gain's first trailer, it looks like Bay is on track to finally deliver his passion project next year, right before Bay starts shooting, you guessed it, Transformers 4. pumping up the latest trailers

Next week's Contraband will end a mini-drought for Mark Wahlberg, who hasn't appeared in a movie since 2010's The Fighter. Even before the boxing biopic earned Wahlberg's co-stars Christian Bale and Melissa Leo Oscars for their performances, Wahlberg was talking about a Fighter sequel, revealing that a second installment would follow "Irish" Micky Ward's trilogy of fights with the late Arturo Gatti.
As late as last June, Wahlberg was still confident about a Fighter sequel, saying "We're not going to do Fighter 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, but we're gonna do 2." In an interview with Collider, Wahlberg offered the latest update, claiming that a script is in the works. Wahlberg talks The Fighter sequel, Pain and Gain >> Posted 01.08.12 by Ryan
