When Ethan Hawke appeared in last year's horror movie Sinister, the actor admitted that "for years I never wanted to make one of these movies." However, Hawke has appeared in genre movies before, namely the 2005 remake of Assault on Precinct 13, which was written by James DeMonaco, who wrote and directed Hawke's latest foray into sci-fi thriller territory with the upcoming The Purge.
Set in a futuristic society where crime is legal for one night a year, Hawke plays a father who finds his family in danger after his son allows a stranger into their home on the night of the lockdown, they soon find they have to protect themselves from home invaders. watch the trailer >> Posted 04.07.13 by Ryan
