Halle Berry Introduces the Second Trailer for The Call

"You're just an operator. What are you going to do?"

The first trailer for the upcoming The Call revealed what looked like a fairly by-the-numbers thriller, with Halle Berry playing a 911 operator who receives a call from an abducted girl (Abigail Breslin) who is in the clutches of a psychotic serial killer. Most of the trailer concentrated on the initial call, leaving Berry to mainly sit behind her desk until the trailer's end, but the latest trailer for the movie shows that Berry will do more than just talk through her headset. In fact, it appears that Berry, who introduces the new trailer, will get personally involved in finding the victim.

Halle Berry seems to be appearing in more genre movies of late, including this year's sci-fi epic Cloud Atlas and the straight-to-DVD, shark thriller Dark Tide, and will stay in the thriller genre for the upcoming The Call.

The first trailer for the movie has just been released, revealing Berry as a 911 operator who accepts a call from an abducted girl (Abigail Breslin), who may be the victim of a serial killer that Berry has history with.
