U.S. Representative Anthony Weiner seemed to bare all during yesterday's 30-minute mea culpa and claimed no government or staff resources were used in his virtual affairs, but TMZ has obtained emails from Weiner to porn star Ginger Lee telling her to lie about their relationship and offering a "professional PR type person" to give her advice on how to help cover up the scandal.
Tom Selleck turned down the iconic role of Indiana Jones in 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark in favor of playing Thomas Magnum in Magnum, P.I.
The jacket Michael Jackson wore in the Thriller video goes to auction later this month, and it's expected to fetch between $200K and $400K, though we wouldn't be surprised to see it go for closer to a mil.
Since splitting from Jessica Biel earlier this year Justin Timberlake has been linked to Mila Kunis, Olivia Munn, and Olivia Wilde. Now it's Biel's turn for some linking as she's seen riding a motorcycle with Gerard Butler. The two star together in 2012's Playing the Field.

Looks like Tom Selleck is ready to return to role that made him famous: private investigator and tiny-OP-shorts wearer Thomas Magnum. Yet, the studios aren't calling Selleck and telling him to pack his bags for Honolulu once more.
Matthew McConaughey has already been dismissed by producer Brian Grazer for the role. So the search continues for another, well, "Tom Selleck" -- much to the dismay of the original Magnum. Selleck told WENN :
They haven't called, they haven't written. I keep hearing they're developing [a Magnum, P.I. movie] but I don't know whether I'm going to be in it ... but they keep doing [fan] polls, and I keep winning them.
Not even calling, huh? Weird. Time to consult Icepick and find out what he's heard. Posted 03.04.09 by Ryan
Producer Brian Grazer has dismissed the rumor that Matthew McConaughey will play the lead in the upcoming Magnum P.I. movie adaptation, produced by his company, Imagine Entertainment. With a script and director Rawson Thurber (Dodgeball) already on board, casting has been the project's biggest problem. Grazer told MTV: "I think the idea for 'Magnum P.I.' is to find a counterpoint, to not try and find the new Tom Selleck but to find someone that is just so different that you go, oh my God! That guy is Magnum?!?" Sorry Matthew, apparently you're too Tom Selleck-y
Our dream casting: Mad Men's Jon Hamm as Magnum, The Office's Craig Robinson as T.C., Pineapple Express' Danny McBride as Rick, and Rowan Atkinson as Higgins.
Magnum P.I. casting, mostly Twilight style: Robert Pattinson as Magnum, Edi Gathegi as T.C., Peter Facinelli as Rick, and Bea Arthur as Higgins.

Leonard Maltin Says:
We recently devoted an entire episode of Secret’s Out to the Western movie genre. One of its strongest proponents over the last twenty years has been Tom Selleck. I’m especially fond of Quigley Down Under, which has all the earmarks of a traditional Western, except for one thing: it takes place in Australia.
Selleck plays an American gunman hired by a power-hungry rancher (Alan Rickman) to come to Australia and shoot the wild dingoes roaming his property. Upon arrival, Selleck quickly learns that he’s actually been hired to shoot the Aborigines who trespass on Rickman’s land. Selleck walks away from the job, but Rickman won’t stand for this, and marks him for death. The characters are well-drawn, the scenery is great, and the film is thoroughly entertaining. Rarely does it make news when an actor is merely offered a role, but when said role is for the lead in a big screen adaptation of an iconic TV series, ears perk up. Yesterday EW.com reported that America's favorite bongo-playing apparel-phobe Matthew McConaughey has been approached to play Magnum P.I., the laid-back private investigator who spent much of the '80s solving crimes while cruising around Hawaii in his red Ferrari.
EW calls it "perfect casting" to have the Fool's Gold star assume the role first made famous by Tom Selleck, but we beg to differ. Is McConaughey even capable of growing chest hair? Because a bald-chested Magnum is an absolute deal breaker. I'll picket the premiere if that happens.
