Michael Keaton is back as Mr. Diamond-Hunting Villain.
After appearing in the buddy-cop comedy The Other Guys and providing the voice of Ken for Toy Story 3, it looked like 2010 was the year of the comeback for Michael Keaton, whose career was traveling in a much more casual speed in the 21st Century than it was in the previous. Unfortunately Keaton has yet to return to the big screen, though he has several projects lined up, including the Robocop remake and Larry David's improv comedy Clear History. Prior to those, however, might be the thriller Penthouse North, should it eventually find distribution.
Shot back in 2011, Penthouse North follows a blind woman (Michelle Monaghan) whose New York penthouse (hence the title) comes under attack by a ruthless criminal (Keaton) in search of stolen diamonds hidden in her residence. Currently, the fate of Penthouse North is unknown, but it does look like it has a good chance of opening in Thailand if the international trailer for the movie is any guide, we just hope that someone writes a new score before it gets released in the States. watch the trailer >>
