The first teaser poster has arrived for writer-director Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Django Unchained and it looks, well, pretty familiar. Just as Tarantino's Spaghetti Western-inspired movie started to take off last year, a fan-made poster of a silhouetted gunman on a horse shooting the chains of a shackled man appeared. The new teaser poster, released by The Weinstein Company, uses a similar red background and chain, and features two silhouetted figures at the bottom, presumably the freed slave Django (Jamie Foxx) and bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz).
The studio has also released an official synopsis, which offers a detailed description of the movie, to the point of seeming spoilerish. While the movie was known to be about Django and his attempts to rescue his wife from a sadistic slave owner (Leonardo DiCaprio), Tarantino has plenty more in store for audiences, which should come as no surprise after having to split Kill Bill into two movies. read the synopsis and see the full poster >> Posted 04.13.12 by Ryan
Paramount's G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation has officially started production today under the direction of Jon Chu (Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, Step Up 3D), and who better than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to Tweet the first set photo? Johnson added a brief message with the photo, which depicts the wrestler-turned-actor in costume as heavy machine gunner and aspiring chef Roadblock.
1st day of shooting. 110 degrees. Bring It.
It wasn't the first time Johnson had Tweeted photos of himself in relation to the sequel to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra — Johnson has also Tweeted a close-up shot of himself brandishing his heavy artillery weapon, and another of himself and Chu holding machine guns. walton goggins joins cast >> Posted 08.16.11 by Ryan
In January, Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that he was planning to return to acting after finishing his last term as California's governor. When Schwarzenegger later separated from his wife, Maria Shriver, after the discovery that he had secretly fathered a love child 10 years ago, he put his acting return on hold, much to the disappointment of director Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer), who was in pre-production on the drama Cry Macho, which was to be Schwarzenegger's first role new acting role. Months after the scandal, Schwarzenegger is ready to test his popularity in a new movie, but not in Cry Macho.
Deadline reports that Schwarzenegger is set to star in Last Stand with director Ji-woon Kim (The Good, the Bad, the Weird). Last Stand puts Schwarzenegger into a Western in a story that's perfect for him, according to what a Lionsgate executive told the website. Jesse Ventura's classic line "I ain't got time to bleed" from the original Predator is a fan-favorite and will make an appearance in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez-produced and Nimród Antal-directed sequel, Predators. Cast member Topher Grace alerted MTV to the line's presence in the movie.
"That line is in the film," Grace said, though he would not reveal who gets to say it. All speculation leads to The Shield's Walton Goggins, who portrays the character of Stans in the movie. Goggins description of the character sure seems to imply that he could be the culprit.
I play Waler Stans in Predators — he's a famous serial killer and fancies himself the only celebrity of the eight persons on the alien planet, and is perturbed when they don't know who he is or ask for his autograph. Stans has a lot of one-liners that hopefully people will be quoting when they leave the movie.
It sure sounds like Goggins, but we wouldn't count out Danny Trejo, who plays a former Mexican enforcer named Cuchillo, or Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, who plays a member of the African Sierra Leone death squad named Mombasa, or even Oleg Taktarov, who plays a former Russian special ops agent named Nikolai. Goggins did mention at least one of his "20 one-liners" that fans can start quoting prior to the movie's release.

Adrien Brody has been cast in Predators, the sequel to Predator being written and produced by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimrod Antal, and THR reports he won't be alone.
Joining Brody will be Alice Braga (I Am Legend), Mahershalalhashbaz Ali (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Walton Goggins (The Shield), UFC fighter Oleg Taktarov, and Danny Trejo, who was the first Predators cast member to be revealed. Topher Grace is also in negotiations to join the cast.
According to a recent script review, Brody will play Royce, a man kidnapped and brought to a Predator planet to join an international gang of ruthless criminals and thugs who must survive being hunted by a group of Predators. Trejo will play Cuchillo, a Mexican enforcer with "twin Uzis strapped to his back." Braga will play the sniper-toting, French-speaking Isabelle, while Taktarov will play former Russian special ops agent Nikolai. Goggins will play Stans, a former San Quintin prisoner who is the "loose cannon" of the group, and Ali will play Mombasa, a member of the African Sierra Leone death squad who is not afraid to die. Should Grace officially join the cast, he will play Edwin, an unassuming accountant-type who is one of the FBI's most wanted serial killers. The only role left to cast is Hanzo, a Japanese yakuza enforcer.
Predators begins shooting next month in Hawaii, with a scheduled release date of opens July 9, 2010. Posted 10.07.09 by Ryan
