Continuing Hollywood's trend of dipping into the fairy tale source pool, Warner Bros. announced it is developing a live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book, with Harry Potter scribe Steve Kloves writing and directing.
As a screenwriter, Kloves has a pretty impressive résumé. Kloves wrote all eight installments of the Harry Potter franchise and has writing credits on this summer's The Amazing Spider-Man and on the much-delayed Akira. But when it comes to his directing background, Kloves has only helmed two movies, The Fabulous Baker Boys and Flesh and Bone, two relatively small projects. more about the project >>
