With more than 100 movies credits to his name, Tony Curtis had a Hollywood career that was as diverse as it was long. From his appearance in 1949's How to Smuggle a Hernia Across the Border (a farcical short directed by Jerry Lewis), he went on to play roles as diverse and memorable as the comic Joe/Josephine in Some Like It Hot to the battle-determined Antoninus in Spartacus. In a statement released after his death, daughter Jamie Lee Curtis said:
He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in-laws who were devoted to him. He also leaves behind fans all over the world.
We'll have a full tribute to Curtis tonight on Hollywood Dailies, 6:30PM ET / 3:30PM PT. ReelzChannel is on DirecTV (channel 238), DISH Network (channel 299), and your cable system.
