A gracious and entertaining speech from Life Achievement Award winner Dick Van Dyke, a decidedly uncontroversial and joke-free acceptance speech from Jennifer Lawrence, and a surprised Downton Abbey cast were just some of the highlights of the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
It was a big night for Bryan Craston who took home two awards, one for his work on Breaking Bad and the other as part of the Argo ensemble. Lincoln also scored two statuettes, one for Tommy Lee Jones the other for Daniel Day-Lewis.
Actresses who do impressions of Sarah Palin had a very good night as well. Julianne Moore picked up an actor statuette for Game Change; it was her first win and tenth nomination. SNL's Palin, Tina Fey, also won, and she wasn't too proud to plug 30 Rock's upcoming finale.
