Director Paul Greengrass is known for directing action movies like The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, and last year's Green Zone, but was planning to head back to more dramatic territory (not unlike his 2006 movie United 93) for his next project: Memphis, a biopic about the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.
Deadline reports that Greengrass is pushing back production on Memphis until next year, after Universal Pictures dropped the movie earlier this month and further financing could not be secured in time for Memphis' June production start. With Memphis on hold, Greengrass is looking for another project in the meantime, and one could team him with Leonardo DiCaprio. what is the deep blue good-by? >>
