It was the usual, pre-arranged craziness at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. Host Russell Brand poked fun at himself and his recent divorce to Katy Perry. "The last time I did an MTV awards show, I did end up marrying someone that was there. So tonight I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for my next wife!" The awards got off to a rocky start when an audience member yelled something obscene to Mila Kunis, who was introducing the first award of the night with Mark Wahlberg. Other highlights included Kristen Stewart making out with herself when accepting the award for Best Kiss (beau Robert Pattinson was M.I.A.), and Magic Mike star Joe Manganiello being completely inappropriate with a fire ax.
Drew Barrymore tied the knot with fiancé Will Kopelman at a private ceremony at her Montecito, CA home. People reports the affair was a "classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired wedding." Jimmy Fallon, Busy Philipps, and Cameron Diaz were among the celebrities in attendance at the wedding. This is Barrymore's third marriage. She married bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and was briefly married to Tom Green in 1991. She and Kopelman have been dating since February 2011.
Kelsey Grammer also got married over the weekend. No, the actor didn't marry wife No. 5. Instead Grammar renewed his vows with new wife Kayte at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas on Saturday. The two first got hitched at New York City's Longacre Theater, in February 2011. So why the second take? Well, they are expecting twins...

There's a new clip just released for the upcoming What to Expect When You're Expecting, and though it features the comedic talents of Chris Rock and Rob Huebel, the characters and dialogue are being greatly upstaged.
In the new clip posted by Yahoo! Movies, the Dudes' Group gives Rodrigo Santoro some lessons about life, women, and marriage. The dialogue is solid, and the actors are funny, but it's kind of hard to pay attention to anything else when Joe Manganiello and his abs are there stealing the scene.
While it'll be great to see Manganiello in What to Expect next week, this clip has us thinking about the male-stripper buddy comedy Magic Mike that he'll be appearing in next month. Granted, we tend to spend quite a lot of time thinking about Magic Mike anyway. watch the clip >> Posted 05.11.12 by Mandy

At this weekend's White House Correspondents' Dinner President Barack Obama asked the question we've all been asking ourselves: "What is [Kim Kardashian] famous for, anyway?" Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan, both who were in attendance, were the butt of many of Obama's and host Jimmy Kimmel's jokes at the Washington, D.C. event. Here are some of our favorite jokes.
"Seriously, guys, what am I doing here?" Obama said. "I'm the President of the United States, and I'm opening for Jimmy Kimmel? Why am I telling knock-knock jokes to Kim Kardashian?"
"When you took office, the Kardashians had one reality show," Kimmel said to the President. "Now they have four. This is not a good trend."
Where is Sully Sullenberger? I met him outside," said Kimmel. "Sully, would you do us a favor? Would you mind driving Lindsay Lohan home? And make sure you don't run into a goose, especially a Grey Goose."
"If you are looking for the biggest threat to America right now, she is right there," said Kimmel. "Her name is Kim Kardashian. She was captured by Greta van Susteren and brought right to your doorstep."
"There are a lot of very big celebrities here with us tonight," Kimmel told the crowd. "Uggie is here. Uggie is the dog from the movie The Artist. Uggie is amazing. He can roll over on command. He's a Democrat."
"I guess Governor Romney is feeling pretty good about things because he took a few hours off the other day to see The Hunger Games," said Obama. "It's a movie about people who court wealthy sponsors and then brutally savage each other until only one contestant is left standing. I'm sure this was a really great change of pace for him."
Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner reportedly laughed off the jokes. Kardashian said her favorite part of the night was meeting Martha Stewart "It's always a fun night," she said.
Speaking of the Kardashians... While the family recently signed a $40M contract to keep their reality show on the air for at least three more years, Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom are pulling the plug on their spinoff show, Khloe & Lamar. TMZ reports Lamar wants to focus on his fizzling NBA career rather than the reality show. Odom, who was traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, was recently put on the inactive list after a lackluster season. Determined to make a comeback, Lamar is said to be moving back to L.A. but focusing full time on basketball, hiring trainers to help him get his game back. Now, if we could only figure out how to get Kim to cancel her show. Too bad she didn't stay together with her basketball player husband.
Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrated their one-year anniversary at a low-key party with close friends on Saturday. The day before the couple attended the wedding of Middleton's college friend Hannah Gillingham. One year into their marriage, the press is now on royal baby bump watch, with everyone speculating when the couple will have their first child and heir to the throne.
Boy band of the moment, The Wanted is not a fan of Christina Aguilera. During a radio interview the group trash talked the singer, calling her a bitch. "She's a total bitch," said member Tom Parker. "She might not be a bitch in real life, but to us, she was a total bitch. She just sat there and didn't speak to us. Wouldn't even look at us." The spat got started when Aguilera reportedly ignored the group during a recent appearance on The Voice. The band, however, seems to be a fan of American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez. Several members tweeted their admiration for Lopez. Jay McGuiness tweeted: "Jennifer Lopez it [sic] beautiful inside and out, everyone of us in love. Sexy, classy, funny, kind. Her new tune is a killer."
And in gender equality news, Joe Manganiello said the hardest part about playing a male stripper in this summer's Magic Mike was wearing a thong. "We all had to suffer a bit for our craft." Posted 04.30.12 by Chris
Olivia Munn is arguably the luckiest actress in the world, seeing as she gets to costar alongside Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, and Joe Manganiello in a movie about male strippers. Luckily for everyone else, she isn’t afraid to discuss the specifics of Magic Mike. The actress recently let loose with some details in a conversation with E!. Munn took a moment to talk about some of the, oh, let’s say, visual elements of the movie.
They're all in G-strings and they all bend over in their g-strings — like really bend over. I remember naked butts and the fact that they were bending over.
Pretty vivid visual, right? Munn went ahead and added to the picture by comparing, um, parts of Matthew McConaughey to a turkey. More about McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, and Magic Mike >> Posted 02.24.12 by Mandy

After spending the past few months putting together its beefcake cast, the independent male stripper movie Magic Mike finally has a release date to work toward.
Magic Mike stars Channing Tatum as a male dancer who teaches a younger, inexperienced dancer (Alex Pettyfer) how to hustle while they work in a male strip club owned by Matthew McConaughey. The rest of the male dancer cast includes Matthew Bomer (In Time), who recently admitted to having difficulties with his thong; Adam Rodriguez (CSI: Miami) and Joe Manganiello (True Blood). Olivia Munn (The Daily Show), Riley Keough (The Runaways) and Cody Horn (Flipped) represent the female contingent of the cast.

Matt Bomer had an interview with MTV to talk about the upcoming futuristic thriller In Time, so how did he end up talking about underwear malfunctions? (Not that we exactly mind.)
The extremely handsome, up-and-coming actor is one of the stars of Magic Mike, a movie about strippers that's helmed by the Academy Award–winning director Steven Soderbergh. Oscars and strippers: Has there ever been a better movie combination? In the interview, the dreamy, blue-eyed Bomer quipped that "there hasn’t really been a movie like this before, and we did it all on a G-string budget." He then goes on to explain why the first time he put on a thong his "junk wouldn't fit in it." For more on Bomer's junk, watch the interview >> Posted 10.20.11 by Mandy
For a few days in January, Joe Manganiello, star of HBO's True Blood, was thought to be a "front-runner" to play Clark Kent/Superman in Zack Snyder's Superman franchise reboot, Man of Steel. Unfortunately, while Warner Bros. did want him to screen test for the role, Manganiello said the studio wanted him to "settle" his "deal" for the movie beforehand, which he could not do because of his commitment to appear in season five of True Blood. As a result, Managaniello never tested and the coveted part of the world's first and most recognizable superhero went to British actor Henry Cavill (upcoming Immortals), who is currently filming the movie in Illinois.
Manganiello recently opened up about missing out on the chance to test for Superman, saying that he was "really, severely depressed...for a few months afterwards." He has since consigned himself to the fact that playing Superman "just wasn't meant to be," but in an interview with The Huffington Post (via CBM), Manganiello revealed there is another superhero he would like to play on the big screen. which superhero would Manganiello like to play? >> Posted 09.02.11 by BrentJS

The cast already includes Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, and Chris Rock and, the studio has just announced, Glee's Matthew Morrison.
