Kevin Costner is back.
After appearing in only a handful of movies over the past several years, the actor has recently lined up several high-profile roles, including Jonathan Kent in the upcoming Superman reboot Man of Steel. Now comes news that he's been cast in director Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, which follows a freed slave (Jamie Foxx) who trains with a German bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) in order to reclaim his wife from a plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio).
THR reports that Costner's role won't be that of a hero. Instead, Costner will play a "vile and sadistic trainer of slaves." In the movie, slaves are pitted against one another in death matches for DiCaprio's amusement. watson takes on a classic fairy tale >>
