Who Should Wear the Cape & Cowl?
It's still unclear how Warner Bros. (WB) plans to proceed with the Batman franchise now that director Christopher Nolan has wrapped up his trilogy. If you've seen The Dark Knight Rises, than you know that Nolan handed the keys to the bat cave to someone from within the universe he created just in case WB wanted to continue the story. However, since the studio announced in June that Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall had been hired to pen a movie based on DC Comics' preeminent super-team, the Justice League — the team's current roster includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Cyborg — it seems far more likely that a new Bruce Wayne/Batman will be chosen, one that has nothing to do with Nolan's universe.
It will be tough to fill Christian Bale's Academy Award-winning shoes, but there must be someone out there with the physicality to play a superhero and the acting chops to portray a man driven to prevent the kind of senseless violence that took his parents away from him. Help us choose the new Dark Knight.

At 21, Jennifer Lawrence has already received an Academy Award nomination (for Winter's Bone) and appeared in a blockbuster comic book movie (X-Men: First Class), but almost nothing will prepare her for the likely loss of her anonymity after the release of The Hunger Games later this week. The adaptation of Suzanne Collins best-selling novel has already sold more advance tickets than any other non-sequel, so the possibility of global fame is not lost on Lawrence, who revealed at a press roundtable attended by HitFix that she considered every angle before accepting the role of Katniss Everdeen. more from lawrence; watch the clips >> Posted 03.21.12 by Ryan
Getting the attention of the Gamemakers is hard but Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) finds a way in the newest clip from The Hunger Games.
Fans of the book will recognize the scene, one of the first outward signs of Katniss's rebellious attitude toward the Capitol. The clip also lets fans see more of that awesome beard worn by Wes Bentley, who plays Senaca Crane, the Head Gamemaker of the 74th Hunger Games.
The clip was first posted on The Hunger Games's Facebook page, then on it's YouTube page, titled Capitol TV, where "videos have been officially sanctioned by the Capitol for the consumption of District citizens." watch the first clip from The Hunger Games >> Posted 03.02.12 by Chris
Everyone's favorite creepy next door neighbor kid has just landed a role in The Hunger Games.
Wes Bentley has been cast as Seneca Crane, the Head Gamemaker of the 74th Hunger Games in the movie adaptation of Suzanne Collins' bestseller. In the book, Crane makes a crucial decision in the fate of the Tributes in the Hunger Games.
Bentley was on the road to be a movie star after playing filmmaker-drug dealer Ricky Fitts (remember the plastic bag?) in the Oscar-winning American Beauty, but unfortunately drug problems derailed those plans. He also had roles in Ghost Rider and last summer's dud Jonah Hex.
Bentley joins a cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Willow Shield (Primrose), and Paula Malcomson (mother to Katniss and Primrose). Gary Ross is directing. Posted 05.05.11 by Chris
