Will Ferrell's next two roles will see him play rancher Armando Alvarez in the telenovela parody Casa de Mi Padre (opening March 16) and then North Carolina politician Cam Brady in the political comedy Dog Fight (opening Aug. 10th), but his next role will see him play a man who steals flamingos.
Variety reports that Ferrell is attached to star in Flamingo Thief, based on the 2010 novel of the same name by Susan Trott. Ferrell will play lawyer Tim Forrester, who, after his wife leaves him, becomes obsessed with stealing flamingo figurines.
No director is currently attached though the search has just begun. Ben Stiller will produce through his Red Hour production company, and Michael LeSieur (You, Me and Dupree) will adapt the screenplay. Evil Dead claims another victim; Eastwood teams with Eastwood >>
