Final Destination 5 finally has its leading lady. Arrow in the Head reports that Emma Bell (Frozen) has been cast as the latest person to receive a premonition that temporarily stops Death from taking its victims.
The fifth installment in the franchise, which is no longer titled 5nal Destination (thankfully), will again follow a group of survivors who escape death, this time from a collapsing suspension bridge. Production on the movie will start on September 13 (Monday, not Friday), in Vancouver. James Cameron protege Steven Quale (Aliens of the Deep) will direct from a script by Eric Heisserer (A Nightmare on Elm Street).
Bell joins a growing cast that (so far) includes Arlen Escarpeta (Friday the 13th), P.J. Byrne (Dinner for Schmucks), David Koechner (Anchorman), Meghan Ory (Dark House), Ellen Wroe, and Nicholas D'Agosto (Fired Up). Final Destination 5 opens in 3-D on August 26, 2011. Posted 09.03.10 by Ryan
