A comedy about...love?
There are plenty of jokes and humorous situations in the red band trailer for the upcoming comedy 3, 2, 1... Frankie Go Boom, and there's also a lot of people yelling at each other and partial nudity. What there isn't is a clear idea of what the plotline is, so we'll stick with the description cast member Lizzy Caplan gave The Playlist last year.
some trailers more naked than others
It's about a guy whose life has been ruined by a YouTube video that has gone viral and so he's been hiding out and he gets brought back into civilization — because he's been living in the middle nowhere — by his really manipulative, horrible brother. And everybody in his life is sort of terrible [and it's about] how he deals with that.

Today’s Hot Trailer: The first ladies of Australian soul.
In Hollywood, a good idea is often deserving of not one, but two movies. Sometimes, the plots are basically the same, but with different actors, such as with last year's two romantic comedies Friends With Benefits and No Strings Attached. Other times, as with this year's two Snow White adaptations, Mirror, Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman, the source material is the same, but the movies end up being quite different.
The latest pair of movies proving this trend are Sparkle and The Sapphires. Both movies are set in the '60s and feature musical groups comprised of female soul singers who use their talents to overcome adversity. Sparkle is in theaters now and features Whitney Houston's last theatrical performance. The Sapphires made its debut in May at Cannes, but the first trailer for the movie was just released in advance of its upcoming screening at the Toronto International Film Festival. Check out the new trailer and then compare it with the trailer for Sparkle. WATCH THE TRAILER >> Posted 09.04.12 by BrentJS
For those hoping for a sequel to last summer's breakout comedy Bridesmaids, the upcoming comedy Friends With Kids might be the best substitute, at least in terms of cast. Written, directed, and starring Kissing Jessica Stein's Jennifer Westfeldt, Friends With Kids includes several Bridesmaids actors, including Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Chris O'Dowd and Westfeldt's real-life boyfriend, Jon Hamm.
Friends With Kids centers around a group of mostly married friends in their 30's who are at that moment where most are having children. The last two single friends (Westfeldt and Parks and Recreation's Adam Scott) make a decision to have a child together but still date other people (Ed Burns and Megan Fox, respectively). The movie premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival last September to mostly positive reviews, and was quickly picked up by Lionsgate. Set for a March release, the first trailer for the movie is finally online. watch the trailer >> Posted 01.12.12 by Ryan
