According to a report by New York Magazine's Vulture blog, Bill Murray has agreed to play the late U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt in Hyde Park On the Hudson, an adaptation of the British radio play. The movie, first reported by Deadline last week, would center on FDR's love affair with his distant cousin, Margaret "Daisy" Suckley, and would be set around a weekend in 1939 when Roosevelt was visited by the King and Queen of Britain (the same monarchs depicted in the Oscar-winning The King's Speech).
Hyde Park On the Hudson was adapted by Richard Nelson from his own play, and will be directed by Roger Michell (Morning Glory), with production starting in July. what about Ghostbusters III? >> Posted 03.31.11 by Ryan
