Air travel is already enough of a pain, but what if your international flight was filled with
snakes ghosts? That's the premise of the upcoming thriller 7500, which sees passengers and crew members aboard fictional airline Vista Pacific's flight 7500 tackle supernatural forces in the sky on their way to Tokyo. It's possible that the plane is cursed, which would make sense since 7500 was directed by The Grudge and The Grudge 2 director Takashi Shimizu, but the trailer doesn't reveal any girls with long, face-covering black hair living in the overhead compartments so we can't be sure.
Horror fans will see plenty of familiar faces in the cast, which includes Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Dead Silence), Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween, Halloween II), Leslie Bibb (Midnight Meat Train), Jamie Chung (Sorority Row) and Amy Smart (Mirrors). watch the trailer >> Posted 02.01.12 by Ryan
Scout Taylor-Compton starred in both of Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes but is reticent to do a third. When the Weinstein Company announced it was going to make a Halloween sequel, Taylor-Compton admitted to AllHeadlineNews that she turned it down.
They called me up and they said, "So we're gonna do H3 in two months,we don't really know our director and we don't really have a script.Do you wanna do it?" I said "No" because I felt like theywere rushing it and feel like they were just gonna make it suck.
While the Weinsteins went on to land Patrick Lussier as director, the studio eventually decided to slow down production. Halloween 3-D is now set to begin production this spring, but Taylor-Compton is not sure if she will reprise her role as heroine Laurie Strode.
I'm not gonna say that I want to do H3 because I honestly think it needs to stop. But if its a great script I definitely wanna do it because I definitely want to continue my character and I don't want to just give up and make them recast me. But I'm definitely not gonna do a movie that sucks.
Compton can be see next in the Joan Jett bio-pic The Runaways, which opens March 19. Posted 02.06.10 by Ryan
MTV has posted a new clip from Rob Zombie's upcoming H2, which reimagines John Carpenter's 1978 horror classic, Halloween. It looks like Zombie is less interested in the atmospheric subtleties of Carpenter's movie and more interested in raw carnage (surprise, surprise). In addition, he lets the dreaded Michael Myers (played by Tyler Mane) show his face, unlike Carpenter's Myers, who was always masked.
Zombie's version stars Scout Taylor-Compton and Malcolm McDowell -- taking over roles played by Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence in the 1978 movie. Also in the movie are Brad Dourif, Margot Kidder, and even 'Weird Al' Yankovic (in an unspecified role). Posted 05.26.09 by reelz
