After revealing three preview clips and a new trailer this week, Dimension Films has offered another new clip from its "found footage" sci-fi horror movie, Apollo 18.
Based on the canceled Apollo 18 lunar mission, Apollo 18 operates under the idea that the mission did happen, and the footage shows that the reason space shuttles were never sent back to moon. Apparently the astronauts (Lloyd Owen and Warren Christie) discovered something really bad on the moon's surface.
In the latest preview clip, released by Yahoo!, sees one of the Apollo 18 astronauts (Owen) go wild inside the shuttle with a hammer. watch the clip >> Posted 08.31.11 by Ryan
Now that Dimension Films finally has a release date for Apollo 18 that it appears to be sticking to, the studio has started to actively promote the movie, with TV spots airing in heavy rotatation and the release of preview clips online. A "found-footage" sci-fi horror movie produced by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted), Apollo 18 is based on the conspiracy theory that NASA ended the Apollo mission because it found...something...on the moon. A preview clip from the movie released last week showed that the Apollo 18 astronauts (played by Lloyd Owen and Warren Christie) found footprints on the moon that were not made by U.S. astronauts. Now, two new preview clips have been released that further the mystery by showing that the astronauts found more than just footprints. watch the new preview clips >> Posted 08.29.11 by BrentJS
After numerous delays, the "found-footage" sci-fi horror movie Apollo 18 (think "The Blair Witch Project on the moon") from producer Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) will open in theaters next week and Dimension Films has released a new preview clip to help promote its debut.
Written by Brian Miller and directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego, Apollo 18 takes place in December 1974 and centers around a mission to the moon that NASA claims never took place. NASA cancelled the program after Apollo 17, but the movie proposes that there was another mission, an 18th mission, and that the astronauts (played by Lloyd Owen and Warren Christie) who landed on the moon discovered that it was already occupied...by something deadly. watch the new preview clip >> Posted 08.26.11 by BrentJS
