Earlier this week, the first photo arrived online of Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) as the existentially-tormented zombie named R from writer-director Jonathan Levine's adaptation of Warm Bodies, and, already, there are more new photos online of Hoult.
Based on the novel by Isaac Marion, Warm Bodies follows R as he falls for a human girl named Julie (Teresa Palmer, I Am Number Four) after eating the brain of her boyfriend and absorbing his memories. "You can imagine it's a very complicated relationship," Levine told USA Today. "We're breaking new ground here."
While the new photos are a bit more grisly than the previous rain-soaked photo, Hoult was not outfitted with a dislodged eyeball or visible gashes on his face, a look that was no accident. "By any standards, Nicholas is pretty fantastic," Levine admitted. "He's definitely the Brad Pitt of the zombie world. We wanted to stay true to the zombie tradition and yet make a believable romantic interest." see the new photos >> Posted 01.11.12 by Ryan
It's official: Jonah Hill is joining Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn in 20th Century Fox's up coming comedy Neighborhood Watch.
Last week, the recently slimmed-down actor was reportedly in talks for the movie, but concerns about his price tag made the casting questionable. Deadline reports that Hill is a go for the movie, though what role Hill will play is still unknown.
Written by Superbad's Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the comedy sees Stiller and Vaughn start a neighborhood watch group as an excuse for dads to hang out together, and then uncover an alien plot to take over the world. A new trailer has emerged online for Hot Tub Time Machine, starring John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke. If ever a title told the story of a movie it's this one, but here's the official synopsis anyway.
HOT TUB TIME MACHINE follows a group of best friends who've become bored with their adult lives: Adam (John Cusack) has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou (Rob Corddry) is a party guy who can't find the party; Nick's (Craig Robinson) wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob (Clark Duke) won't leave his basement. After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures — one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!
The movie is directed by Steve Pink, Cusack's screenwriting partner on Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity. Check out the trailer below. Posted 02.12.10 by Ryan

Leads Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher have their best friends in place for What Happens in Vegas... The romantic comedy about two strangers who wake up after a drunken evening Vegas to discover they are married and have won a huge jackpot--and subsequently try to find out how they can avoid sharing the winnings with each other--has now added The Daily Show alum Rob Corddry and Boston Legal's Lake Bell to the cast.
And Saturday Night Live alums Chris Parnell and Rachel Dratch have joined the cast of Harold, the comedy about a prematurely balding high school student (Spencer Breslin). Parnell will play the gym coach who torments Harold, and Dratch the teacher who forces him to take off his hat--thus alerting the world to his condition.
Finally, Third Rock From the Sun's Joseph Gordon-Levitt has signed on to play the lead in The Frog King, a romantic comedy about a young, underpaid New York publishing assistant who loses his girlfriend and tries to win her back. It will be directed by Sex and The City's Darren Star.
The Frog King was adapted from Adam Davies' 2002 chick-lit-ish novel of the same name (we LOVED it) by Bret Easton Ellis--the man who wrote American Psycho and Less Than Zero. Sounds like a quite odd pairing, but we are going to hope for the best.
Gordon-Levitt is currently cast in Uncertainty, an indie from David Siegel and Scott McGehee (Bee Season, The Deep End).
