Some new information about The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR), one of the most highly-anticipated movies of 2012 — and reigning trailer download champ — has just come to light courtesy of two rather unlikely sources: Joey King, the teen actress who has long been connected to the movie in an unspecified role, and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
In a recent interview with MyEntertainmentWorld, the 13-year-old Ramon and Beezus star revealed the character that she will play in director Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman movie, which could be more telling about the plot of the movie than the young actress probably realized at the time. And, an FCC filing by HotWheels for toys based on the movie has finally given us a name to call that weird flying Bat-Wing thingee that has been the cause of no small amount of buzz since the first "spy" photos and videos of it in action leaked online last year. what did king say? >> Posted 01.21.12 by BrentJS
Sam Raimi is back at work in the director's chair, but it's not another Spider-Man movie. Instead, the director is shooting Disney's The Wizard of Oz prequel, Oz: The Great and Powerful, in his home state of Michigan.
Starring James Franco in the title role, the movie imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum's beloved character, as explained in the movie's synopsis. who will braff play? >> Posted 07.27.11 by Ryan
The third and final movie in acclaimed director Christopher Nolan's revamped Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR), has been in production for two weeks yet actors are still being added to the cast. Israeli actor Alon Aboutboul joined after Nolan wrapped his two-day shoot in Jodhpur, India, and moved the production to London. Now, according to Variety, Matthew Modine has also joined the cast as a character named "Nixon." In addition, accomplished Scottish actor Tom Conti and pop singer/child actor Joey King have also joined the cast, though their roles have not be revealed at this time. more about The Dark Knight Rises >> Posted 05.21.11 by BrentJS
