Marty McFly may be on his way to the Broadway stage.
Deadline reports that Robert Zemeckis is in talks with co-writer Bob Gale and composer Alan Silvestri to turn the 1985 comedy/sci-fi classic Back to the Future into a stage musical.
Even though Marty sings and plays guitar, a musical is a little surprising — yet, it seems that, of late, no successful franchise stone is left unturned. But, really, any trip to Hill Valley is bound to be pretty good. We're just hoping for original songs like "1.21 Gigawatts" and maybe "I'm Dating Mom and Dad's a Peeping Tom."
