While the plot details are being kept scarce, casting announcements continue to trickle out for director Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
At the end of May, Brett Cullen and Chris Ellis were cast as a judge and a priest, respectively, and Variety reports that the latest mystery role has been filled by Josh Stewart (The Collector, ABC's No Ordinary Family). No details were given on what role Stewart would play, which has been typical of the production.
The report claims that the addition of Stewart is the "last" for the movie, which includes returning cast members Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Nestor Carbonell and Gary Oldman, as well as newcomers Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Juno Temple, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Alon Aboutboul, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff, Burn Gorman, Tom Conti and Joey King. Nolan wrote the script for The Dark Knight Rises with his brother, Jonathan Nolan, and it opens on July 20, 2012.
