Time to break out the Kleenex again.
When it comes to searching for a sure thing, romantic tear-jerker, Hollywood seems to look no further than Nicholas Sparks, the author behind book-turned-movies like The Notebook, Dear John and the upcoming Safe Haven. In fact, Safe Haven is the eighth movie to be made from a Sparks novel, following April's The Lucky One.
Though Safe Haven only started shooting in June, the first trailer for the movie is already online and should please Sparks fans. Set in North Carolina (Sparks' home state), Safe Haven follows a mysterious woman (Julianne Hough) who settles into the town of Southport and falls in love with a widowed shop owner (Josh Duhamel) until her dark past catches up with her. Yes, there is a romantic scene in the rain. Yes, Dear John director Lasse Hallstrom helmed the movie. Yes, we smell another hit.more romantic trailers
