Some may argue that all Fast and the Furious movies are the same, focusing solely on cars, girls, and more cars, but closer inspection reveals some slight differences. The first, 2001's The Fast and the Furious, saw Paul Walker as an undercover cop who infiltrates the L.A. street racing world and meets anti-hero Vin Diesel, forging a partnership that ended for the sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, which saw Walker and Tyrese Gibson investigating a money launderer in Miami. Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift took the action to Japan, where Lucas Black filled in for Walker and Diesel in a storyline that was ignored for the 2009 sequel, Fast and Furious, which reunited Walker and Diesel in Los Angeles and reignited the franchise.
