Summit Entertainment's decision to replace Rachelle Lefevre with Bryce Dallas Howard for the role of Victoria in Eclipse definitely took the editors at Glamour magazine by surprise, as she's featured on the September "Twilight Beauty" cover, and inside in the "how to let your color come out at night" feature.

Canadian model-turned-actress Noot Seear sat down with style.com to talk about The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and the Twilight phenomenon in general. About her role as Heidi, Seear says she's a "fisher. She's kind of a siren. She attracts tourists to bring back to her feeder people. Basically, she's human bait."
Consider us caught.
Seear may raise some eyebrows with Twihards about how late she became failiar with the franchise:

Had you read the Twilight books before you went out for the part?
No, actually. And even though the first movie had come out by the time I heard about the role, I still didn't have a clear idea what a huge production this was and what an insane cult following it has. It didn't quite hit me until Comic-Con (2009). I mean, people slept outside overnight just to get a glimpse of the cast, and then, you know, we go into this auditorium, and screen a clip of the movie, and the fans are just screaming, like, the loudest noise I've ever heard. And the screaming would die down for a minute, and then Rob [Robert Pattinson] would brush his hair out of his eyes or something, and that's all it would take for the screaming to start up again.
If we've got one complaint about the casting for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, it's that there's not a larger role for Canadian model and "Kate Moss 2.0" Noot Seear, who plays a small role as Heidi, a member of the Volturi (an elite group of vampires for the uninitiated).
On casting Seear, director Chris Weitz said, "We wanted someone who had an unearthly and unlikely beauty," and as a bonus he got someone with an unearthly and unlikey name. According to Woman's Wear Daily she's already got her dress picked out for the premiere, and is anxiously awaiting the Heidi action figure. As we all are. Posted 07.20.09 by reelz
Finally! Summit Entertainment today announced the full cast list for the Twilight sequel, New Moon.
Joining the returning Twilight movie cast and previously confirmed werewolves are: Charlie Bewley (Demetri), Jamie Campbell Bower (Caius), Daniel Cudmore (Felix), Christopher Heyerdahl (Marcus), Dakota Fanning (Jane), Cameron Bright (Alec), Noot Seear (Heidi), Michael Sheen (Aro), Tinsel Korey (Emily), and Graham Greene (Harry Clearwater).
Summit seems to be keeping to relatively unknown actors (much like they did with Twilight), with most of these new additions being unrecognizable by name. It's good for the actors (instant fame) and good for Summit (cheaper salaries), but are they the right choices for these much-loved roles? Only ardent Twilighters have the answer... Not long after the Wolfpack was officially cast , E! Online have exclusively revealed that Noot Seear will be playing Heidi in New Moon.
25-year-old Seear is a Canadian supermodel, and hails from Vancouver. Having previously modeled for magazines such as Elle and Vanity Fair, she's now decided to try her hand at acting. Her character, Heidi, works for Italian vampire clan the Volturi, and is mostly responsible for making sure they have enough humans to eat.
AnnaLynne McCord (90210) was previously rumored to be playing the part, but confirmed scheduling conflicts soon put an end to that. We can't wait to see how long it takes for the first Robert Pattinson/Noot Seear dating rumor to surface, and we're betting Seear has just found herself on a whole load of Twilighters' hit lists.
