Bruce Willis, never seeming to be lacking in work, might be seen in seven movies opening in 2012 and 2013, including the May 25th comedy-drama Moonrise Kingdom from director Wes Anderson, the summer sequels G.I. Joe: Retaliation (June 29) and The Expendables 2 (Aug. 17) and the Sept. 28th sci-fi thriller Looper. With production starting in April on A Good Day to Die Hard, the fifth installment in the Die Hard franchise, Willis has added another movie to his 2013 slate, the action-thriller Five Against A Bullet.
According to the press release sent to Deadline, Five Against A Bullet will follow a Mexican politician who hires five of the world's toughest bodyguards to protect him during an election cycle after his father is killed by a drug cartel. While the statement doesn't specify, we'll assume that Willis is playing one of the bodyguards.
While no director has ben named for the project yet, Alex Litvak (The Three Musketeers, Predators) is writing the script. Columbia Pictures president of production Hannah Minghella stated that the studio is hoping to move Five Against A Bullet "into production quickly" and commented that Willis was "the perfect actor to lead this cast."
