Posted 03.06.12 by Katie Although The Hunger Games won't be released until March 23, the Suzanne Collins trilogy is already poised to be a box office hit. With hundreds of screenings sold out and insiders predicting a $70 Million opening weekend, it's no surprise that fans are hungry for more.
That being said, followers will be happy to know that the script for the second movie, Catching Fire, is near complete.
Screenwriter Simon Beaufoy told E's Marc Malkin, "I just finished the first draft, literally a few days ago. I'm waiting to see what everyone thinks."
