"Do you remember me?"
Tax time is almost upon us and no one is more aware of that than actor Wesley Snipes. Sentenced in November of 2010 to three years in prison for willfully failing to file federal taxes, the Blade actor will be a free man this July, perhaps in time to see his latest release, Gallowwalkers. The Western sees Snipes do what he does best — dispatching hordes of the undead — as he plays cursed gunman Aman, who is hunted by a gang of his undead former victims.
If you're wondering how Snipes was able to appear in the movie while still being held in jail, he wasn't. Shot back in 2007, Gallowwalkers has been sitting on a shelf since at least 2008, until VMI Worldwide picked up the rights and sold the U.S. distribution rights to Wreckin Hill Entertainment. "Wesley is officially back in the US, and soon the rest of the world; we are meeting our EFM goal to reintroduce him to the audiences with Gallowwalkers," said VMI president Andre Relis.
