James Bond has the catch phrase "shaken not stirred," and from the new Breaking Dawn - Part 2 trailer it looks like Renesmee Cullen (Mackenzie Foy) could end up with an oddly similar tagline: "Born not bitten."
The second trailer for the final Twilight movie has just hit the web, and it gets to the heart of the conflict. While the first trailer focused on Bella's (Kristen Stewart) experiences as a newborn vampire, this second peek at the upcoming movie deals with the impending threat of the Volturi and their displeasure at the arrival of an immortal child.
One question that remains, though, is will the resolution at the end of the movie be as peaceful as it was in the book? Looks like we'll have to wait until November to find out. Hopefully, we'll also learn why Aro (Michael Sheen) decided to start taking his fashion cues from MJ. watch the trailer >> Posted 06.20.12 by Mandy
Not to be overshadowed by the summer's blockbusters — well, that and the fact that tomorrow is Edward Cullen's 111th birthday — Summit is getting a second Breaking Dawn - Part 2 trailer queued up to dominate the web.
While the full trailer doesn't release until tomorrow morning (and, yes, we'll post it when it drops), we have a 15-second preview of it today. We got a look at vampire Bella (Kristin Stewart) stalking a deer in the woods in the first teaser trailer for the final installment of the Twilight Saga. This time the focus shifts to Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) and the Volturi's anger at her existence. Watch the preview of teaser trailer #2 >> Posted 06.19.12 by reelz
The fifth and final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, hits theaters this fall, and there are sure to be different dynamics at play with the arrival of a new and key character. Renesmee Cullen (Mackenzie Foy) manages to break the Twilight love triangle, infuriate the Volturi, and change vampire-human dynamics forever just by being born. She certainly deserves a spot alongside Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly.
The arrival of the newest member of the Cullen clan not only changed the dynamics between the characters, but according to EW's interview with Pattinson, it changed the dynamics among the cast as well. Since vampires stay the same age forever, the cast are all fairly close in age and they're "really not polite to each other anymore," says Pattinson. "You'd have to tone it down when Mackenzie was around." They apparently weren't always successful at remembering a kid was close by, though. "She had a little swear jar, and I think she made 850 bucks or something." Smart girl. More about Renesmee and Breaking Dawn - Part 2 >> Posted 06.13.12 by Mandy
Elizabeth Reaser — aka Esme Cullen, uber-mom to everyone's favorite vampire clan — is at the Sundance Film Festival promoting Homework, and not surprisingly she's getting asked lots of questions about The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
While she hasn't let many production details slip, she's had lots of praise for her co-stars. Reaser described newcomer Mackenzie Foy (Renesmee) as "so professional and just a sweetheart" and has praised Kristen Stewart both for her cookie baking skills and scary newborn transformation. The latest object of Reaser's praise is director Bill Condon. watch the interview >> Posted 01.28.11 by reelz
The cast members who will portray several of the new "vegetarian" vampires of The Denali Coven in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn were recently announced and now the creator of Twilight, author Stephenie Meyer, has revealed the young actress who will portray the half-human/half-vampire offspring of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), Renesmee Cullen.
Very excited about our new Renesmee, Mackenzie Foy. She’s an amazing young actress and I’m excited to work with her.
Breaking Dawn was written by Melissa Rosenberg, who penned the previous three Twilight Saga movies. Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) will direct. Posted 10.07.10 by BrentJS
