This Wednesday, March 29th at 8p ET/ 5p PT, the second season of the award-winning drama Bomb Girls is coming to Reelz, with the season's first two episodes airing back to back. We can't wait to see the new episodes and find out what our favorite VicMu girls, Gladys (Jodi Balfour), Lorna (Meg Tilly), Kate (Charlotte Hegele), Betty (Ali Liebert) and Vera (Anatasia Phillips), are up to. They all had plenty going on when season one of Bomb Girls came to a close. Gladys' fiance had enlisted in the Army and her parents were livid that she had been working on the factory floor for months. Meanwhile, Lorna took a pregnancy test that came back positive after her interlude with Marco, and to make matters worse, her daughter, Sheila, seems to have a crush on Marco, too. Vera managed to gather up her courage and head back to the factory, and while she couldn't do her old job anymore, she may have found a new one. Kate's abusive father uncovered her whereabouts and convinced her to leave her job and her new life, which broke the besotted Betty's heart
All of the bomb girls have great story lines, but whose is the most intriguing?catch the explosive premiere

“When we bond together there is nothing we can’t accomplish”
The Bomb Girls are returning to Reelz for a second season and judging by this brief preview it looks like it will be even bigger and better than the first. The girls are together again, Vera (Anastasia Phillips) appears to be back to her carefree self, Gladys (Jodi Balfour) is reunited with James (Sebastian Pigott) and Betty (Ali Liebert) is still in love with Kate (Charlotte Hegele)… but why is everyone at Victory Munitions hiding in the bomb shelter…and did Bob just hit Marco?

As we count down to the premiere of Bomb Girls on September 11, Hollywood Dailies' Viviana Vigil went behind the scenes to get a 1940s makeover and discuss the look of each of the main characters — the floor matron Lorna (Meg Tilly), the well-to-do Gladys (Jodi Balfour), the tomboy-ish Betty (Ali Liebert), and eager to please newcomer Kate (Charlotte Hegele).
Set during World War II, Bomb Girls follows those four main characters as they find their lives transformed as they risk their lives working in a munitions factory. Catch the first episode tomorrow at 10pm E/P. watch the Bomb Girls trailer >> Posted 09.10.12 by Ryan
In Bomb Girls, Gladys Witham may have a position of wealth and privilege, but her life doesn't necessarily satisfy the wild child who lives inside her. Jodi Balfour as well as some of the other cast and crew members discuss Gladys' free spirit, her aversion to filing papers, and her ambitions to work in a factory.
There is a wide array of women that come to work at Victory Munitions in the upcoming original series Bomb Girls. From a socialite to a runaway to a good-time girl, these ladies will all be faced with challenges they never expected, and they may be surprised at the strength they find within themselves. Sometimes, character exposition is doled out slowly in a long, meandering series of probing sequences. Other times, storytellers cut right to the heart of the characters in a very short amount of time. Bomb Girls most definitely fits into the latter category.
In this new three-minute clip from the original series about a group of women working in a bomb factory during WWII, we find out all the essentials about what's going on in the lives of Gladys (Jodi Balfour), Lorna (Meg Tilly) and Kate (Charlotte Hegele). Though Gladys lives a life of wealth and privilege, only a few moments with her character reveal that she can't get everything she wants with looks and money. Lorna needs her job, even though it adds another degree of difficulty to what is already a strained marriage. Kate, meanwhile, is seeking salvation and the munitions factory might just be her sanctuary. Watch the first scenes from Bomb Girls >> Posted 08.08.12 by Mandy
