"The Cobra revolution has begun."
Of all the trailers, clips and other promotional materials for the upcoming sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the focus is usually on cast members Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum or Bruce Willis and not on the antagonist of Cobra. That all changes in the sequel's latest TV spot, in which the voice of Cobra Commander issues a warning to the world. watch the trailer >> Posted 03.19.13 by Ryan
"Yippee ki-yay, motherf****r!"
Legendary action movie icon Bruce Willis can currently be seen on the big screen in his fifth go-round as John McClane, the perpetually "wrong guy in the wrong place at the wrong time," in A Good Day to Die Hard. In his 28-year career as an actor, Willis has starred in more than 60 movies — five last year alone — playing such diverse characters as a time travelling hitman, a deep-sea oil driller (in space), a taxicab driver (in space), a dead child psychologist, an honorable boxer with a killer hook, an assassin named "Mr. Goodkat," a professional gambler named "Dink," and a charming killer named "The Tulip." Some of his movies have become classics, while others...not so much, but they all boast one thing: Willis himself, a bonafide movie star the likes of which are rarely seen in Hollywood anymore. Back in 1992, the Die Hard franchise was only at two installments, with John McClane (Bruce Willis) having successfully defending the Nakatomi building and stopped a rogue counter-terrorist unit from an airport — both on Christmas Eve. Also in 1992, Ben Stiller had yet to break out as a movie star and was working on his own show, The Ben Stiller Show, which was canceled by Fox after 12 episodes yet went on to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing the following year. To say the show was before its time would be an understatement, one that is underlined by the re-discovery of a Die Hard 12 sketch (via The Playlist), which sees Stiller stopping terrorists during a regular visit to the grocery store. It may have seemed ridiculous at the time, yet, years later, Willis would surf a military jet in 2007's Live Free or Die Hard and fight terrorists in Moscow in this month's A Good Day to Die Hard. watch the sketch >> Posted 02.23.13 by Ryan
In a career that spans decades, Willis got his start doing theater in New York before getting his break on the TV show Moonlighting and then moving on to movies. At the age of 57, Willis seems to be busier than ever, carving out new franchises like The Expendables and RED (whose sequel, RED 2 opens later this year), while still appearing in smaller, art-house projects like last year's Moonrise Kingdom.
This week, Bruce Willis returns to the franchise that made it all happen with A Good Day to Die Hard, the fifth installment in Willis' most enduring franchise. This time, Detective John McClane will travel to Russia to meet up with his son (Jai Courtney) in a sequel that is poised to win a long, three-day weekend. But while audiences flock to see the latest chance to see Willis say "yippee-ki-yay," what do we know about Willis' entire career? We've got you covered as long as you have under 8 hours to spare. check out our picks from Willis' career >> Posted 02.15.13 by Ryan
"It's important to enjoy life while you still can."
2010 was a big year for aging action heroes with the release of both RED and The Expendables. However, instead of a group of work-for-hire mercenaries, RED followed a group of retired CIA agents (the title stood for "Retired, Extremely Dangerous") led by Bruce Willis who reassemble after they discover that the agency is out to eliminate Willis. The results were better than expected, with RED earning nearly $200 million worldwide — far above expectations — which can only mean one thing in Hollywood: sequel. extremely dangerous trailers

Yippie Ki-Yay translates to basically the same thing in Russian.
Last time we saw John McClane (Bruce Willis), he was saving his daughter (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) from cyber-terrorists in 2007's Live Free or Die Hard, but for the upcoming A Good Day to Die Hard, McClane will be looking to help his son Jack (Jack Reacher's Jai Courtney) instead.
As revealed in previous trailers, the fifth installment in the Die Hard franchise sees the elder McClane (Willis) travel to Moscow in order to help out his son Jack (Courtney), but in the latest trailer he learns that his offspring is actually "the 007 of Plainfield, New Jersey," forcing the McClanes to team up to dispose of yet another group of European terrorists. trailers that bring the family together

Which of this year's actors are worthy of the industry's highest honor?
If the screenplay is the backbone of a movie and the director its eyes, the actors and actresses who bring the characters to life on screen are its heart and soul. A bad script in the hands of wonderful actors can still make for a pretty decent movie, but give a wonderful script to bad actors and you're gonna get a bad movie every time. This year, there were a considerable number of exceptionally well written movies starring talented actors and actresses released by both independent studios and the majors so there are almost too many eligible candidates to consider for Academy Award nominations. We already asked you to tell us which actresses deserve consideration come Oscar time — so far, you've chosen Jennifer Lawrence for her leading role in Silver Linings Playbook and Anne Hathaway for her supporting role in Les Miserables — now tell us which actors are worthy of the movie industry's highest honors, whether Best Actor or Best Supporting Actor.

More Tatum, more Willis, more Johnson — no problems?
After suffering a nine month delay back in May, it looks like the promotional campaign for G.I. Joe: Retaliation is in full swing again.
